Bluebeam Revu eXtreme is a powerful program packed with a lot of features that help us tackle our daily tasks.
One of my favorite features is the ability for eXtreme to create fillable PDF forms with the click of a button. For the most part, the program can recognize the key features of a static form and turn them into dynamic, fillable fields. However, this process is not perfect, and eXtreme may not recognize every little instance that should become part of a form.
For example, eXtreme may not recognize the difference between text and a check box, therefore the form creation process omits the check box. If there are only a few check boxes on a form, it may be easy to manually create them during the form creation process. But what if you have 50 or 100 check boxes? Creating them manually can take a lot of time.
Instead of creating hundreds of check boxes manually, you can use text brackets and count measurements to assist with the form creation process. Be sure to check out this video for the tips and tricks on the check box creation process. It will sure help you save a lot of time!
There may be time at which Automatically Create Form Fields does not recognize the check boxes that exist in a PDF. If there are only a few check boxes that need to be created, doing so manually may be worth the time, however, if you need to create hundreds of check boxes, doing so manually will take a very long time.
With the use of text brackets, visual searching, and count measurements, you can assist Bluebeam Revu eXtreme with the automatic creation of check boxes during the form field creation, potentially eliminating hours of tedious manual check box placement.
